Meet the Members - July | 2018

Ashley Brusenhan

I moved to New York in September of 2016 from College Station, TX, where I graduated from Texas A&M University (marketing degree) in 2010. After serving as the College Women’s Director at Central Baptist Church from 2010-2016, I sensed God calling me here. I grew up visiting New York often with my family and developed a deep burden for this city and a desire to see people surrender their lives to Jesus. I’ve been blown away at the ways I’ve seen God move and provide these past couple years of living here. It’s been a gift to find the Community of Grace through a friend and an honor to serve on staff at Grace where I get to disciple and invest in women.

I was born and raised in NYC, I am a wife, mother of 4, dog owner, government employee, and a new small business owner.  I'm a hard worker, and love people!  I'm blessed to be part of the Grace family, a family that works endlessly to make sure no one gets left behind.

Amesac Mane

I moved to NYC from Burkina Faso in September 2016. I am a freelance Translator/Interpreter: French/English. I found Grace through a friend "Ashley" In September 2017. I love the preaching, the worship and the people at Grace. The Gospel is preached with love, The worship is a time when you can feel the presence of the Holy spirit moving in people. The people are so loving and caring.

My prayer is for God to bless NYC with his knowledge, that we all may come to living as brothers and sisters, and enjoying the happiness that flows out of Knowing God as a father!!

Victoria Mo

I grew up in California and came to New York for my undergrad studies. I've been living in New York for about 4 years now (on my fifth) and started coming to Grace as a junior in college.

My best friend brought me to Grace when I told her I was looking into switching churches because I wanted to attend a church with a better sense of community. I was attending a mega church the first two years in the city and it was difficult for me to plug in. One of the things I loved about Grace was the sense of community and how tight knit people were; I felt like you really knew the people who was part of your community and had the opportunity to build good spiritual relationships. I also am continuously convicted/ inspired by the sermons preached on Sundays.
